Issue 69 of Ecología Política celebrates the vitality of Latin American and Caribbean political ecology as a living practice, rooted in contested territories, resisting bodies, and knowledge systems that defend life. Beyond academia, this current manifests in concrete struggles, collective memory, and organized communities that reshape concepts such as ecological debt, body-territory, extractivism, and green colonialism.
This edition brings together voices from the Global South, feminisms that denounce extractive violence, and criminalized resistances that reimagine horizons of justice. Agroecology, art, urban waste, and relational ontologies converge in proposals that invite us to feel-think other possible worlds—where environmental and social justice walk hand in hand.
