Resumen: Las inversiones en energías renovables y en minería se están acelerando a escalas inéditas. Esta tendencia puede atribuirse al fin de la energía barata, basada en combustibles fósiles, y a la amenaza de recesión económica mundial. Más que la crisis climática y el compromiso con las metas de descarbonización, son la crisis de los combustibles y el interés por la reactivación económica los que están empujando las iniciativas de transición energética a escala nacional y global. Frente a los nuevos extractivismos, en diversos territorios del Sur global emergen iniciativas para transiciones justas, democráticas, feministas y decoloniales. En este artículo, presentamos algunas experiencias de Chile, Argentina, Colombia y Perú vinculadas a la iniciativa Transición Justa Latinoamericana, en la que organizaciones y redes de mujeres están organizándose para poner en común y visibilizar tanto los impactos de la corriente hegemónica como las resistencias y las transiciones emergentes.

Abstract: Investments in renewable energy and mining are accelerating on unprecedented scales. This trend can be attributed to the end of cheap, fossil fuel-based energy and the threat of a global economic recession. More than the climate crisis and the commitment to decarbonization goals, it is the fuel crisis and the interest in economic recovery that is driving energy transition initiatives at global and national levels. Facing these new extractivisms, initiatives for just, democratic, feminist and decolonial transitions are emerging in various territories of the global South. In this article, we present some experiences from Chile, Argentina, Colombia and Peru linked to the Latin American Just Transition initiative, where women’s organizations and networks are organizing themselves to share and make both the impacts of the hegemonic current and the emerging resistances and transitions visible.
