The journal Ecología Política invites authors to send article proposals for its next issue, n. 56.
The theme of the issue is Political Ecologies of China.
It will cover both theoretical dimensions and specific cases of socio-environmental transformations and conflicts in China, as well as the socio-environmental impacts of Chinese capital in other countries, in relation to:
- Mining and fossil fuel conflicts, marine, agricultural, forestry, hydroelectric, urban, etc.
- Debates and contributions to political ecology from China.
- Cultural expressions and forms of eco-social mobilization in China.
- The role of political, social and economic actors of China in socio-environmental conflicts of other countries, and vice versa.
The issue will be published in December 2018.
PROCEDURE AND DEADLINES FOR SUBMISSION
Submission of articles will take place in two steps.
- Article proposal submission (250 words max.). Deadline: 9 July 2018.
Once received, the proposals will be evaluated by experts in the subject and by the issue’s guest editors. The authors whose proposals are selected will be invited to send a complete manuscript. Invitation to submit the full manuscript does not ensure its publication, as manuscripts will then undergo a further review process. Once the review process is completed, Ecología Política takes care of the translation to Spanish.
- Submission of the final version of the article (to be translated from English to Spanish, if necessary): 16 September 2018.
